I purchased this as a gift. I read the reviews about the offensive card that was included so I searched the box to find it to throw it away. I certainly would not want to give this to anyone with that remark. I honestly did not find it -- I wonder if the seller decided not to include it because of the negative comments in the reviews. It really is a beautiful box set otherwise. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I know my giftee will be as well. The candle was intact and I live in the desert where temperatures are well over 100 degrees F. It's a lovely balanced scent of pear and freesia, not too flowery and not too sweet - just a subtle fresh fragrance. I definitely recommend it with the caution that if you or your giftee are offended by the "f" bomb, either pass this by or look for the card to remove it before giving it to someone.My friend just had a new house built and I gave her this as a house warming gift. They have alot of land and she will definitely be using this in the evenings afer a hard days work on the land. All items are very well made and a very nice quality.I gave this as a gift to my girlfriend as part of her birthday presents. It's a nice, impressive box.Unfortunately when you open it up there is a less than tasteful card that I guess is supposed to be a joke. But she didn't find it funny and frankly neither did I. I honestly can't remember exactly what it said on it, but it wasn't cool.The thing that she has used the most since getting it is the wine tumbler. She loves that it says "not a day over fabulous". It was perfect for her birthday.She's not a big bathtub user so we probably won't get much use out of the pillow. But I've played around with it and it seems reasonably well made. I guess I kind of wish it didn't have suction cups permanently attached on the back so we could get some use out of it as maybe a regular pillow. But we can live with it.She's into candles and liked the scent of this one. I get the feeling that it's not her all-time favorite. She's got quite an extensive collection of candles so this is just one of in a sea of many for her.I think for Amazon's current price of around $50, you can certainly find better value gifts to give someone. That said, if you looking for a gift for someone who maybe you don't know as well, this is a nice big impressive box to give as a gift. I would just recommend that you take that card out of the box before you give it to someone.Nice set to give as gifts but it's not for everyone.Due to the language on one of the card I wouldn't gift this to my church friend. I notice it's not shown in the photo gallery, but it's further down on the product page, and you can't tell what it says. It's the black card in my photo. It's a nice gesture but it would be a surprise if I gift this to a religious person.The packaging is nice. It's a good presentation.The pillow is soft and fluffy. It has a hook so you can hang it to drip dry.The tumbler is good for cold beveragesThe candle jar is nice and looks well made.The candle is soy and smells like any generic candle, it smells like the candles I just use for decoration.That's just my thoughts. Everyone has different taste when it comes to candles. It's "English pear and freesia".this is a great gift for your friend, girlfriend, mother, and so on.the candle smells great. the bath pillow is very confront . wine tumbler is just a tumbler nothing to fancy about it. overall comes in a cute package. box is pretty.only neg is the price but that up to the buyer.This birthday set makes gifting a snap. I was surprised at how large the box was when it arrived. The sheer size make an impressive impact. (It measures ~18 x ~15 inches.) I really liked that the box itself is pink and it says, 'Cute Stuff Inside.' The card it die cut which is fancy. And the candle and tumbler have their own decorated boxes, too. Really you only need to place a ribbon and bow on it or find a big enough bag to give it as a gift. The tumbler is ok but the candle is very nice. I like that this set has items that the receiver can keep using. I found the bath pillow is very soft and plush. Decent but maybe not the very best quality. The only thing is that there is a sticker inside the candle that uses the F-word. So you might want to remove it before gifting if the receiver is sensitive to curse words even though it is meant to be funny.
