Well, two little exceptions, so it’s still a 5-star for me. Read on.This is a great pill sorter, and I’m happy with the purchase. The compartments are plenty big enough for all my medicines and supplements. They have a curve inside, making it easy to fish them out (or you can just dump them into your hand). They open super easily; just push the little tabs.You do have to watch that you don’t inadvertently open the compartments while handling the whole thing. But the tabs also make it easy to open them to re-fill. So that’s 1/2 of what I slightly don’t like.The other 1/2 is that it’s pretty large to take along if you’re traveling, and the compartments could easily pop open in a bag, if the tabs get bumped.The price was great, though, and it works so well at home. So I just also bought a different one that has separate little containers for each day, which would be a nuisance for regular use, but is great if you’re going away just for a couple of days.Overall, definitely a very good choice.Let me start off by saying my Dollar Tree medicine holder wasn’t working out for me.Trying to get my medicine out didn’t always go ok.Sometimes trying to get my pills for Saturday Am or Saturday PM I would have issues opening.As I add more pressure to it most of my pills have popped up in the air. My son suggest buying this medicine holder. I looked on Amazon and found this.I really like this medicine dispenser.It keep all my medicine in it’s compartment.No more unwanted pills falling out until I need it.I love the color coded label for the days of the week.Yes I recommend buying this for a more Secure medicine holder.Oh large writing also with the days of the week.I shattered the proximal end of my left humerus, in other words, I broke my left shoulder. I'm not supposed to use that arm at all. My brother (my roommate) was getting my meds together for me every day. So I ordered one of these so he could just do it one day a week and I CAN OPEN IT WITH ONE WORKING HAND! I also got your other one with four compartments on each removable day that I am using for things I don't take on a regular basis. This would be great for someone who only has use of one hand/arm.I bought it for traveling, as I wanted something I knew wouldn’t open up spilling my pills, while in my suitcase. It fits the bill.Love that all my husbands pills are in one place. The day and night are so clearly marked and each day individually locked will make it great when we travel. Each day has ample room for oversized pills like vitamins. Tray can easily be removed if you prefer 2 containers. Wish I had read all answers, they are NOT removable which is a pain, especially for traveling when you only need 1 or more days worth. Not sure what to do about this. Will have to buy something separately.Have used this pill box (daily) for a few years, it's great! It came (same day delivery) shrink wrapped, without damage. The XL size is perfect if you take several pilIs. The locking mechanism works well at home, but I would still use rubber bands (length wise) to reinforce the locks if I travel with it. I especially like that it has non-skid pads on the bottom, which makes a difference when filling the box. As a bonus, my cat can't "bump" the box off the counter!
